Early Childhood Education Intensive
Graduates of any Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Arts program can complete this hands-on, intensive program in one year. Expand your knowledge and skill-set working in real-world settings. A 210-hour field placement gives you a practical application for your training with the possibility of securing permanent employment. This program is designed in collaboration with Nipissing University’s Faculty of Education.
Bachelor of Education, or Bachelor of Arts (Psychology preferred)
Students are to apply as second year students.
Other Requirements
A completed Canadore College Health Centre form including medical history, immunization record, and Tuberculosis (TB) test is required. Please see the online student registration handbook for more information.
If you have been convicted of an offence under the Criminal Code for which you have not been pardoned, you may be ineligible for field/clinical placements. A yearly police check will be required for placements and can be obtained from the police department upon payment of a fee; all associated costs will be the responsibility of the student.
