OSSD or equivalent Grade 12 Compulsory English (ENG4C or ENG4U)
Other Requirements
A completed Canadore College Health Centre form including medical history, immunization record, and a two-step tuberculosis (TB) test is required. Please see the online student registration handbook for more information.
In order to be ready for employment upon graduation, it is suggested that all students obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate prior to graduation. All associated costs are the responsibility of the student.

Students will complete two field placements during the two-year course - a two-week placement in second semester and a 10 – 12 week placement in fourth semester.
Students attending Canadore College from outside the North Bay area will be expected to secure their own field placements in their hometowns.
A Criminal Reference Check may be required in order to go to placement. If you have been convicted of an offense under the Criminal Code for which you have not been pardoned, you may be ineligible for field placements. Students should not obtain a Criminal Reference Check until directed to do so by the Placement Liaison Officer. All associated costs are the responsibility of the student.
Canadore College reserves the right to place students in any field placements that are determined to be appropriate. Students must be prepared to travel to and from placements and/or relocate at their own expense.
