Financial Aid

Bursaries List

Online Bursaries are awarded on the basis of financial need and/or satisfactory academic progress. To be considered for a bursary, eligible students must submit a detailed “Online Bursary Application”. Students awarded a bursary will receive an email by the end of November. For more information regarding Financial Aid Bursaries, please see the iStudent Portal.

Discretionary Bursary is available to students in need of emergency funding. This bursary application may be submitted at any time throughout the academic year. To apply, please visit the Financial Aid Office (Room C221).

Emergency Loans are available from the Financial Aid Office on a short-term basis only. These loans are distributed to students who are waiting for funding to come in, ie. OSAP. All loans are fully repayable. Loan applications may be submitted at any time throughout the academic year. A $10.00 service charge applies. IMPORTANT DATES

To apply for all donor-supported program bursaries and scholarships, students will be required to fill out an online application on New iStudent portal.

Bursaries start and end date: October 12th to November 18th.

Scholarship start and end date: November 1st to December 16th.


Financial Aid Bursaries

Ontario International Education Opportunity Scholarships (O.I.E.O.S.)

The government of Ontario has allocated funding through the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities’ International Strategy, to create 4 O.I.E.O.S. scholarships for students completing part of their 2011-2012 academic program abroad. Students who will be studying abroad must complete this application Ontario International Education Opportunity Scholarship.pdf and submit to the Financial Aid Office (Room C221) by the November 11th, 2011 deadline.
